Ainbusk singer Marie Nilsson Lind is dead.
Sister Hanna Hermansson confirms this for the newspaper All of Gotland.
– It is an endless sadness, she says.
Marie Nilsson Lind had recently completed a comeback tour with the group Ainbusk X3, which was a reunion of the three surviving members from Ainbusk, which split in 2008.
During the tour, she worried about her husband, who was seriously ill and died on December 28, Hela Gotland writes.
Marie Nilsson Lind was best known as one of the members of the group Ainbusk together with Annelie Roswall, Birgitta Jakobsson – and sister Josefine Nilsson – who died in 2016.
In the documentary Josefine Nilsson – Love me for who I am, she told about her sister and their project, which she herself wanted to realize.
“Soft appearance and great aura”
Marie Nilsson Lind took part in the TV program Så mittke Bättre 2021. In the same year, the artist Maxida Märak also took part. She remembers Marie Nilsson Lind with warmth and writes a message to TV4 Nyheterna.
“I was incredibly sad. She made an impression, and I liked her a lot. She had a soft appearance and great aura”.
