We will have to get used to it: the PS5 and Xbox Series X generation probably does not have a hook with the collectors’ editions, unlike the previous generation. It is therefore impossible for us to hide our joy when we learn that a special PS5 console in the colors of Final Fantasy XVI is scheduled. This is the Japanese PlayStation Blog which reveals the information, recalling in passing that Naoki Yoshida’s next game will be a PS5 exclusive. Suddenly, for the release on June 22 of this Final Fantasy XVI, a PS5 bundle is planned in Japan at a price of 67,980 yen (460€) for the Blu-ray model or 56,980 yen (385€) for the version digital. In addition, two accessories will be offered for separate sale, namely a faceplate and a DualSense adorned with logos and symbols related to the Final Fantasy XVI brand. It is obviously these two products that are of interest to collectors, but at this stage it is not known whether Europe will also be served by these special editions.
