Remember, last December, the VGC site revealed a collaboration between LEGO and the publisher 2K Games for several sports-themed games. Leaked toys allowed us to learn of the existence of a football game, in preparation either at Sumo Digital or by the Visual Concepts studio (NBA 2K, WWE 2K). But it would seem that other projects are much further ahead, since other leaks this weekend revealed the existence of the LEGO 2K Drive game. Images posted on Reddit by a user who claims to have played the beta version show that it will be a Mario Kart-style car game, with a multiplayer approach.

The insider in question, who is undoubtedly a journalist hidden behind a pseudonym that has not respected the embargoes, reveals that this LEGO 2K Drive will allow us to drive vehicles capable of transforming according to the surface on which the vehicle crosses. Items on the road à la Mario Kart will make it possible to attack and defend against opponents, while the game promises different universes. We also learn in this massive leak that it is the Visual Concepts studio which is behind the project and that the game will be released fairly quickly this year. Faced with this leak, the LEGO manufacturer has decided to react by posting a video which confirms the existence of this LEGO 2K Drive by giving an appointment on March 23 for the reveal of this racing game for the whole family. .
We are not supposed to say anything ? but tune in for March 23rd pic.twitter.com/i0NUiF3bqG
