Stina Nilsson would get her big revenge.
But then something happened that was not supposed to happen at all.
Now the Swede breaks the silence and now opens up about the nightmare message.
It has been a very tough season for Stina Nilsson to date. The third season as a biathlete has not all turned out to be what she had hoped for yet.
Stina’s season
Instead of her career taking off in earnest and her getting closer to the top of the world, the season has mostly come to be about disappointment. The ride times have been slow, the shooting has been weak, there have been several pokes and the Swede has had to endure harsh criticism.

First, she was poked from the World Cup last winter and that then led to her losing her place in the World Cup squad. Immediately after the Biathlon World Cup, the 29-year-old was still back at the World Cup again, but then came the next accident.

Swedish support
A pure nightmare message for Stina Nilsson, who thus has to sit out Thursday’s distance competition and it is still unclear if she will compete in any more races in Östersund. Now the Swede breaks the silence after the tough announcement.
“Then a little cold came and knocked on the door. Feels so very sad, but I will do my best to get well quickly”, she writes in an open post on Instagram, see it below.
Her words have received almost 9,000 likes and many are saddened by the sad thing that happened. A lot of people send their support and warm greetings to Nilsson on social media.
“Shut up,” writes one user.
“Take care now,” writes another.
“No, how sad, hurry up,” writes a third.
