Well-crafted space horror sci-fi isn’t limited to the Alien series. Today the shocker Pandorum is on TV, which also has a series of Astronauts rush against bloodthirsty aliens.

Desperate humanity sends a massive spaceship to an Earth-like planet in the future to avoid overpopulation on Earth. Thousands of passengers are in hypersleep, the journey is said to last 123 years.
But when Corporal Bower (Ben Foster) and Lieutenant Payton (Dennis Quaid) wake up, the ship is in utter chaos. The nuclear reactor is defective, ghastly monsters prey on the passengers, and the two protagonists suffer from psychosis and amnesia as a result of the journey. Above all, they don’t know how long they’ve been on the road and where the spaceship is.

As it eventually turns out, the brutal aliens are not actual extraterrestrials. Rather, some passengers mutated into cruel monsters over the years. The ship has reached its destination for 800 years and lies at the bottom of an ocean.
