For over 20 years have Zlatan Ibrahimovic entertained us Swedes and offered one masterpiece after another. But now the successful career is finally over.
Zlatan’s career
“Ibra” pushed his body to the limit and played football at the highest level over his 40th birthday. Few other footballers have done it in history and the star Swede can look back on a very successful career.

Everything took off in Malmö FF before he conquered Europe and won titles in a heap for some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Milan, PSG and Manchester United have all enjoyed Zlatan’s fantastic qualities on the pitch.

Ibra’s favorite team
But what few know is which is actually Ibra’s own favorite team since childhood. He himself has admitted that he loved Inter since he was little, thanks in large part to the idol Ronaldo who played there – but Zlatan also has a favorite team in England too.

In an Italian TV program on Sky Italia, he revealed his favorite English team back in 2007.
– We were three or four friends who each chose a team in the big leagues to stick with. My team in Italy was Inter, the others cheered for Milan and Juventus. In England, it was Arsenal that I liked, Ibrahimovic said then.

There could also have been games in Arsenal once upon a time when the coach Arsene Wenger was interested in the young Swede already in 2000. But it turned out to be pure nob from Zlatan when he refused to audition for Arsenal, instead it was a record move to Ajax and the rest is history.
