To the big “What if?“No story can be avoided, not even the Star Wars story. LEGO Star Wars Rebuild the Galaxy S01 – Teaser Trailer (English) HD

Star Wars makes Jar Jar Binks a villain and there’s more to it than you think

Rebuild the Galaxy follows average citizen Sig Greebling (voiced by Gaten Matarazzo), who discovers a unique artifact in a Jedi temple. Once revealed, it turns the galaxy completely upside down: Ewoks work as bounty hunters, TIE Fighters and X-Wings merge, and Darth Jar Jar wants to kill the protagonist.

Ahmed Best, who also voiced the character in the prequel trilogy, returns in the English speaking role of the controversial character. His return is also a vote of confidence in Star Wars and its fans, with whom Best has not always had an easy time.

Similar to other Lego Star Wars adventures, Jar Jar’s dark version will probably not be part of the canon. Her performance is still a clear gift to the fans. The theory has been around in the community for a long time, that the supposedly guileless Gungan is a Sith Lord on the dark side of the Force and is in common cause with Senator Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid). The main reason for the idea is primarily its extreme clumsiness, as Screen Rant points out.

When is LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy coming to Disney+?

According to StarWars.com, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is a four-part special released on September 13, 2024 to appear on Disney+. How long the individual parts last and whether supplies could follow in the future remains unclear.
