(Finance) – “La Zes Unica it must necessarily be an opportunity for the relaunch of the Southern regions and it is the demonstration of our Government’s commitment to Southern businesses. It will be essential to be able to implement precise cohesion agreements between the Regions involved, optimizing resources to see made the most of the investment. The senator declared this Francesco Silvestropresident of the Parliamentary Commission on Regional Issues, who will be present at the conference “The unique SEZ in the South for the development of the country”, promoted byOrder of chartered accountants and accounting experts of Naplesscheduled for Monday 29 January 2024 at 3pm at Palazzo Calabritto.

Many interventions are planned of technicians and subject matter experts: Costanzo Jannotti Pecci (president of Confindustria Campania) stated: “We look favorably on the commitment made by the Government to ensure a adequate coordination of available funds, to bring spending back to truly structural impact logics, aimed at overcoming infrastructural and service gaps. We agree with the Single SEZ, not only because it extends the administrative simplifications and incentives provided for the old SEZs to the entire South, but also for the fact that, with the strategic plan, the conditions are created to promote an industrial policy aimed at consolidating and expanding the southern productive fabric. We also ask that the companies have a concrete role in the control room and in the mission structure of the new Zes model, in order to participate in the construction of the new development strategy. We also ask that, in the transition from the previous eight SEZs to the single SEZ, there should be no slowdowns or interruptions in the authorizations for new production facilities or for the strengthening of existing entities”.
Second Giuseppe Nargi (general manager Campania, Calabria and Sicily of Intesa Sanpaolo) “the bank supports investments in the unique special economy area of the South through a dedicated limit 10 billion euros. Riccardo Resciniti (full professor of Economics and business management at the University of Sannio) highlighted “how the success of the single ZES depends on the agglomeration economies that it will be able to achieve, in a dual direction: on the one hand, to develop the surplus value of the southern areas and secure the locational permanence of local businesses by leveraging their relationship with the territory; on the other, to favor the National Direct Investments from the richer areas of the North to the poorer ones of the South, in order to open up new growth paths for northern companies in areas with greater margins for development and lower levels of costs”.
