(Finance) – The United States will not tolerate the circumvention of sanctions against the Russian oil industry. This was declared by the US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen during his journey to Marrakech, aboard the Air Force, speaking to journalists.
Yellen, who will attend the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, in Morocco, said that “very likely” the United States will act to ensure that the limit of $ 60 a barrel on the price of Russian oil, imposed by Washington and its partners, is respected .
“We want to make it clear that we take this limit very seriously and that we will act accordingly,” Yellen said.
