Microsoft has officially announced that support for the Xbox Console Companion app on Windows PCs will end soon.

After Microsoft discontinued the use of Xbox One SmartGlass in 2016, it made the Xbox app the main choice for connectivity between Xbox One and Windows PCs. This app allowed Xbox Live users to review and purchase Xbox One games, view achievements and game capture footage, and access Xbox Live community content.
