World of Warcraft shared the details of the second major patch called Guardians of the Dream, which was added to the Dragonflight universe, and gave clues about the third raid period.
Guardians of the Dream appears as the second major update in World of Warcraft’s Dragonflight series. With this patch, a new raid, region and a continuation of the Dragonflight story will be added to the game universe.
A brand new update from World of Warcraft
As part of Dragonflight, players explored ancient research locations and different timelines in pursuit of the Primal Incarnates. Now, they will experience Fyrakk’s attack on Esmerald Dream to take the energy of the new World Tree named Amirdrassil.
Esmerald Dream region joins the game
This patch 10.2 will introduce a new region called Esmerald Dream to the players. This area is a place that players have partially experienced before. However, World of Warcraft plans to offer a fully explorable Esmerald Dream of a similar size to other regions of Dragonflight this time around. This new area to be explored offers different activities to the players with its peaceful nature, pleasant ponds and the views that Fyrakk has disrupted with the Shadow Flame.
In the main story of Guardians of the Dream, Vyranoth teams up with characters like Alexstrasza and Tyrande as he confronts Fyrakk. As the story progresses, many druids and dragon friends will attempt to stop Fyrakk’s evil plan.
But this patch is not limited to just that. As the story of Tyr’s remodel draws to a dramatic conclusion, players will also be immersed in a story that focuses on Outland’s Netherwing and World of Warcraft’s Thorignir Storm Dragons, including Wrathion and Vyranoth. This new region will be full of side quests and interesting stories.
The Guardians of the Dream patch will bring some new UI improvements, as well as new legendary items and a universal currency development system. A new Renown faction called Guardians of the Dream will also be included in the game, giving players the chance to earn various rewards by taking part in the new region.
