Work, jump in contracts with productivity bonuses in one year

Third Sector note from the Ministry of Labor on appointments

(Finance) – Contracts that provide for productivity bonuses deposited and active at the Ministry of Labour they grew by 30.7% in one year. This was reported by the ministry led by the minister Marina Calderone underlining that on 15 January 2024 there were 9,421, against the 7,206 present on the same date in 2023, benefiting 2,907,405 workers.

it affects both corporate contracts (+19.7%) and territorial ones, which went from 613 to 1,529 (+149.4%) in one year. Among the 9,421 active contracts, 7,446 aim to achieve productivity objectives, 5,777 profitability, 4,752 quality, while 1,023 envisage a participation plan and 5,758 envisage corporate welfare measures.

The average annual value of the premium is equal to 1,470.56 euros

per beneficiary worker. From 2023, a substitute tax rate of 5% will apply to this amount.. The Government has chosen to encourage productivity by halving taxation compared to the past.
