In the first trailer for the horror comedy Renfield, the star only appears as a voice for a long time. But then he comes upon you all the more delusional.

What is Renfield about?
The footman Renfield has fallen in love with a traffic cop (Awkwafina). Nicholas Hoult (with Robert Pattinson’s Batman haircut) then attempts to break away from his master as a servant. Too bad that his superior is Count Dracula.
It has an atmospheric effect horror comedy like a mix of the various crypt flicks of the last decades and thus refreshingly old-fashioned. In the worst case, we see Morbius 2.0 here. At best, we get the comedy version of Blade and Constantine.
When does Renfield start in German cinemas?
From the April 20, 2023 is the vampire horror in German cinemas. Genre fans and Nicolas Cage lackeys should mark this date in red.
