Wise Twitch streamer finds comforting words for fellow player whose wife just left

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Access to the Counter-Strike 2 beta is highly coveted. Aside from Twitch streamers like shooter ace Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, only a handful of gamers selected by the developers made it into the beta. One of these chosen ones complained to the streamer of his suffering and shroud found exactly the right words – or not.

How did the situation come about? Shortly after the match started, one of the players Shroud was in a lobby with revealed that he had been dumped by his wife.

The streamer asked what had happened and suddenly everything came out of the player:

I have a one year old daughter, my wife just decided to leave me for her ex. She decided she loved him more and ran away.

Shocked, Shroud asks if the woman took all the player’s belongings. He explains: He told her to get her things, which she did.

The Twitch streamer obviously didn’t expect the conversation to go like this: It just got too real too quickly.

The player also explains: The worst thing is that his wife didn’t give him a real reason. If he had at least done something wrong, he could understand it better than this. However, he wanted to be above the matter, not badmouth his wife.

The rest of the players tried to express support for the comrade: he was better off without them.

Shroud, on the other hand, falls silent, seems to think for a moment. Then he finds the perfect words for the serious situation: “Well, hey, at least you still have the CS2 beta!”

How did the player react? He took it with humor: He felt as if he had received a golden ticket from Willy Wonka, as in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. He even shared on Facebook that he had access.

If you also want to be in the Counter-Strike 2 beta, we have bad news for you: The testers are apparently hand-picked by the developers. Among other things, they pay attention to factors such as the trustworthiness of the Steam account and playing time on official Valve servers before the start of the beta.
