“Sheer execution”

Tony Boija was 29 years old and a father of two when he was murdered in the summer cottage area outside Borlänge. The police then described the murder as a pure execution – he was shot with one shot to the chest and one to the head from less than half a meter away.

Two people in Tony Boija’s circle of acquaintances – with whom Tony hung out intensively in the last day of his life – were charged with murder but it did not lead to a conviction. They are said to have partied together and all three are said to have had an interest and dealt in weapons, Borlänge newspaper reports.

The two men who were suspected of the murder but acquitted were sentenced to prison for weapons offenses in connection with the investigation into the murder of Tony Boija.
