We’ve only just experienced the finale of the Skywalker saga when we suddenly find ourselves between the prequel and the original trilogy. The Star Wars projects jump happily through time. So when is Ahsoka playing?
When does Ahsoka play? The simple answer
If we break down the Star Wars timeline to its broadest points, then Ahsoka is set after Return of the Jedi and plays about at the same time as The Mandalorian season 3.
Sabine Wren actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo revealed this to SFX Magazine. Specifically she says:

It gets a bit more complicated when we want to locate Ahsoka exactly on the Star Wars timeline. There are two reasons for this: Officially, no exact year has been revealed. In addition, the plot is closely intertwined with the animated series Star Wars Rebels. But don’t panic. Let’s break it down in order.

Generally speaking, every event on the Star Wars timeline relates to the destruction of the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin in Star Wars.
In addition, the Star Wars timeline can be divided into different sections. are canonical eight eras defined. We have listed them here for you. Further down in the article you will find a list of all suitable films and series.
The era of the New Republic is interesting for us. This includes all series that Part of the Mando-Verse are, namely The Mandalorian, The Book by Boba Fett, Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew. Season 1 of The Mandalorian begins in the year 9 NSY, five years after the collapse of the Empire.
So far so good.
Season 3 is where things get tricky, with conflicting statements from series creator and showrunner Jon Favreau. At the moment, however, there are many indications that the events of the 3rd season will change in the year 11 NSY occur. That would also be the year in which the story of Ahsoka begins.
Important to note: The ending of Ahsoka Episode 2 picks up on the Star Wars Rebels epilogue. However, Star Wars Rebels begins in 5 BBY and makes a big leap in time with its epilogue. Looking closely at the Star Wars timeline, the sequence of events should look like this:
