Scary and frightening moments are already pre-programmed in some games. In horror titles like Dead by Daylight or The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, it is commonplace for players to experience spooky in-game moments. It’s often zombies, ghosts or vampires that you have to watch out for.
However, spooky occurrences in games can also appear in other genres in a completely unexpected way. Maybe they weren’t even planned by the developers, but instead suddenly appear in the game due to technical problems.
So there are sometimes glitches or bugs that lead to spooky elements, such as a mysterious Dreadnaught bug that got the talk of the Destiny 2 community.
