Patrik Laine scored a brilliant goal, but Columbus lost as a guest of Detroit. More sad news was heard about Artturi Lehkone, because he will have to be sidelined for at least several weeks.

Laine’s goal did not help bring Columbus up to points. The Blue Jackets are tied for last in the Eastern Conference with four wins in 13 games.

Lehkonen “weeks” on the side
