Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

In a Second World War bunker, 30 meters underground in south London, coriander, watercress and other edible plants are grown while the Tube passes overhead.

And vertical farming with cultivations in an urban environment is a rapidly growing industry. With new methods, water, electricity and emissions are saved.

– We don’t use soil, so the water doesn’t run away in the same way. The crops basically have their perfect growing environment all day long, all year round, says Olivia O´Brien, business developer.

The energy for the lamps comes from renewable sources and in the underground the cold is shut out and the plants require less water and fertiliser.
