The writer and debater Cissi Wallin is also convicted by the Svea Court of Appeal for gross defamation. This after she singled out a named person as a rapist on social media.
In 2019, Wallin was convicted in the district court of gross defamation, which both parties appealed. On Thursday, the Court of Appeal upheld the district court’s conviction but increased the damages to the slandered man to SEK 110,000.
The incident was investigated by the police but closed. The named man has always denied the accusations and reported Cissi Wallin for defamation.
