(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Giovanni Gorno Tempini is the winner of Wall Award 2023 for excellence in economics and for exemplifying its achievements to bring to students. The manager will be awarded in November for his “enthusiasm in combining knowledge and enterprise”, during the ceremony that takes place annually at Bocconi in memory of the Abruzzo financier Ermando Parete and his invitation to young people, as survivors of the Dachau extermination camp , to the utmost commitment in studies and professions.
There proclamation by Gorno Tempini was decided unanimously by the Scientific Committee of the Premio Parete and joins the prestigious winners of the previous editions. From Guido Barilla, awarded in 2022 to Alberto Bombassei (2021), Giorgio Armani (2020), Giovanni Tamburi, awarded at Bocconi in 2019, up to Vittorio Colao, awarded in 2018, and Marco Carrai (2017).
Bresciano, since 2019 he has held the position of President of the Board of Directors of Deposits and Loans Fund (CDP), of which he was Chief Executive Officer from May 2010 to July 2015. He has been Chairman of CDP Reti SpA since 28 November 2019 and has also acted as Chairman of CDP Equity SpA since 2 April 2020. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of FILA SpA since August 2019 and has been a member of the Avio Board of Directors since 2017 (reconfirmed in 2023).
He is a professor in the MBA Program of the SDA Bocconi School of Management and a contract professor of Finance at the Bocconi University of Milan, where he graduated in 1987. He was President of the Fiera Milano Foundation from September 2016 to July 2019 and on 30 May 2022 he was awarded the honor of Cavaliere del Lavoro.
