It was the season finale of Allsång at Skansen, and the Swedish country star David Ritschard took the stage at Solliden.
During his performance, David swayed a couple of times on stage. But it was after his song that David Ritschard seemed to have more difficulty keeping his balance and standing up straight.

When Pernilla wahlgren stepped up to David for an interview and he mumbled and seemed to have trouble finding the words.
Together with Pernilla, David would lead the sing-along in the form of Cornelis Vreeswijk “I once had a boat”.
The song barely had time to start when Pernilla Wahlgren is heard saying:
“Oh this is not so good. I think we have to break here for him… Now we have to break”.

Out of the picture, David Ritschard had collapsed on stage, and had to be carried out on a stretcher. The program continued, and in a comment to The Express Pernilla said she was “terrified” but that the production had calmed her down.
In the earpiece, she had been told that David was fine, and that she would continue singing.

This is not the first time David Ritschard has collapsed. When he was a guest on “Jill’s Veranda”, he collapsed during the recording in Nashville. He woke up in hospital with a drip and an EKG. The doctors then believed that Ritschard had suffered from exhaustion.
– It was a collapse, I had overestimated my energies and drove on year after year after year and I went in with the gas at the bottom, David told in Carina Bergfeldts talk show “Bergfeldt”.

In the comments section on David Ritschard’s Instagram, the cry greetings pour in from his worried fans. On X (formerly Twitter) the reactions are also strong.
Many TV viewers criticize SVT for letting David take the stage when he looked so unwell.
