It was the fifth attack on domestic animals in four months in Blekinge, a county with no wolf range. With the help of DNA, it has been established that it is a female wolf from an area in Östergötland, which is behind at least four of the cases.

The county administrative boards in Blekinge and Kronoberg have decided on protective hunting of the female wolf.
