Veenendaal – Thanks to a victory in the doubles, the Dutch tennis players have qualified for the next round of the Davis Cup. Veenendaal player Botic van de Zandschulp won together with Wesley Koolhof with 7-6 and 7-5 against Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori. Because of that victory, the Netherlands lost 2-1 to Italy, but that point was needed to stay ahead of Brazil and Belgium.
