Province of Utrecht – Dutch stray cats have been infected with bird flu, according to research from the University of Utrecht reported by Pointer. Of the 701 stray cats examined, antibodies against bird flu, the H5N1 variant, were found in 83 cats. If more domestic cats become infected, it could become a danger to humans.
