Alderman Eerenberg is working on the Urban Development Vision Memorandum. This vision is about the layout of the city, about streets and neighborhoods and about facilities. Earlier, the city council adopted the Spatial Strategy Utrecht 2040, or RSU2040. In it, the municipality describes the course of the city for the next twenty years. “The urban planning vision must make concrete what the municipality understands by quality of life, quality, efficient use of space and architecture, with the aim that we will soon be able to better manage and test new area developments and projects in the existing city,” the municipality writes.
