Fake police officers called Utrecht residents and told them that suspects had been arrested who had money, jewelry and a letter with the address of the called resident in their pockets. The scammers then asked whether the residents had any more valuables in their home. The Utrecht residents did not fall for the trick but filed a report, the police reported.
