(Finance) – The index that measures the US consumer confidence, according to the latest survey conducted by the University of Michigan, which published the definitive estimate. In the month of December 2023, the consumer sentiment index stood at 69.4 points from 60.4 in the preliminary reading and against 61.9 in November.

The component relating to also has been revised upwards expectationswhich is positioned at 67.4 points from 56.8 and against the expected 66.4, while that on current condition it was revised downwards to 73.3 points from the preliminary of 74 points and compared to 68.3 in November.
