USA University of Michigan consumer confidence falls in April

(Finance) – American consumer confidence worsened in June.

According to the preliminary data from the University of Michiganconsumer sentiment is estimated to be down to 50.2 points compared to 58.4 points in May and is even worse than the expectations of analysts who expected a drop of up to 58 points.

During the same period the index on the present situation fell to 55.4 points from the previous 63.3 points, while the index on expectations it dropped to 46.8 points from the previous 55.2.
