(Finance) – American consumer confidence deteriorates in November 2022. According to preliminary data from the University of Michigan, consumer sentiment is estimated to decrease at 54.7 points from 59.9 points in October, and is even worse than analysts’ expectations who expected 59.5 points.

In the same period the index on the present situation fell to 57.8 points from the previous 65.6 points (expectations were for 64 points), while the index on waited it decreased to 52.7 points from the previous 56.2 (the consensus was at 56 points).
