UniCredit the new SACE Future Guarantee is operational to support

(Finance) – Unicredit and Sace have strengthened their partnership existing by signing a further agreement which allows the bank to immediately make the new measure available to businesses, thus strengthening support for the production system. The agreement, aimed at supporting the development of our country’s businesses on global markets, technological innovation and digitalisation processes, also provides support for investments in infrastructure, strategic supply chains and economically disadvantaged areas, in addition to investment projects for the development of female entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on initiatives linked to the PNRR.

The new SACE Future Guarantee it is a digital guarantee instrument and will be able to cover, to the extent of 70%, the financing provided by UniCredit to Italian companies, including SMEs, of principal amounts ranging between a minimum of 50 thousand and a maximum of 50 million euros and having a duration of no more than 20 years. The loans may be used to finance both expenses to be incurred and costs already incurred no later than 18 months prior to the date of the loan request.

In more detail they will be eligible investments abroad in tangible, intangible and financial assets and support for working capital for the preparation of foreign supplies, projects carried out in Italy in the social, energy, water and digital fields. It will also include investments made in Economically Disadvantaged Areas or intended for strategic supply chains, as well as projects aimed at reducing seismic or hydrogeological risk, technological and digital innovation and the development of female entrepreneurship.

With this new initiative we further consolidate our support for Italian companies in their development paths on global markets, with the aim of triggering virtuous growth processes also in the territories in which they operate”.
