Unfair Glitch randomly gives players better chances of winning – Any match can be affected

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

A bug in Call of Duty Warzone 2 causes players to sometimes end up in a squad of five or six. Of course, the big groups have a huge advantage in Al Mazrah and Ashika Island and the community is frustrated.

What is this glitch? Usually players start solo, as a duo, trio or squad in the Warzone. But there was one exception to this rule: With the launch of the new Call of Duty, the “Unhinged” mode was added, which allows you to recruit additional operators into your team in the course of a round.

However, with the launch of Season 2, this game mode has been removed. Nevertheless, some players are currently reporting that they sometimes end up in a group of five or six. For example, one Reddit user posted a photo of their team showing how 5 players are on their 4-man team.

Since then, the community has been speculating as to how this error could have happened and whether it is an error at all. Many players are frustrated by this bug and other bugs. The developers have not yet given an explanation for this phenomenon.

With the first major update to Warzone 2, there was a lot of new content. All features of Season 2 can be found here in the trailer:

What does that look like then? Since the developers have so far remained silent about the incidents, the rumor mill is bubbling all the more violently. Shortly after the Reddit thread was created, footage from a stream started doing the rounds.

These show content creator “TheTacticalBrit” attempting the Nuke Challenge. To his great surprise, there were 2 additional players in his team of 4 right at the start of the game. The Warzone streamer was also unable to explain how this group constellation came about. However, he used his advantage and won the round of Warzone with ease.

In the short cut scene, which shows the winners at the end of the game, 6 operators can also be seen. In the credits you can even identify groups of up to 8 players.

If you want to watch the whole thing for yourself on YouTube, you can find the start of the game at the 3:41:10 time stamp and the end at 4:04:40. In the comments of the stream, many viewers suspect that there is an error in matchmaking and the game applies rules that apply to DMZ to the Warzone as well.
