President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi says that the Ukrainian regime needs real decisions on the supply of modern tanks. He also said that the discussion about tanks should also end with decisions. Zelenskyi commented on the issue in his daily video speech on Tuesday evening.

According to Zelensky, the question is not whether to deliver 10 or 15 tanks, because Ukraine needs more of them.

– We need real decisions on strengthening our defense against terrorists. Our allies have the number of tanks we demand. When the necessary, difficult decisions have been made, we will gladly thank you for each of them, Zelenskyi said.

German media reported on Tuesday that Germany has decided to deliver Leopard battle tanks to Ukraine. In addition, the government has decided to approve the delivery of Leopards sold by Germany to its allies to Ukraine.

According to media reports, both Germany and the United States are expected to announce the provision of tanks to Ukraine on Wednesday. The White House has not commented on the information either.

Zelenskyi thanked President Sauli Niinistö and Finland

In his speech, Zelenskyi also said that Russia is preparing new attacks with the forces it is able to mobilize.

– The occupiers have already increased the pressure in Bahmut and Vuhledar and elsewhere as well. And they want to increase the pressure on a larger scale, Zelenskyi said.

Zelenskyi also thanked Finland and the president in his speech Sauli Niinistöwho visited Ukraine on Tuesday and, among other things, met President Zelensky in the capital, Kyiv.

– We will receive a new support package from Finland, which includes support for our defense, Zelenskyi said.

Finally, Zelenskyi said in his speech that the change of high-ranking officials of the country’s administration was necessary to strengthen the country’s administration.

According to the president, the personnel change will help both the country’s defense and improving relations with European institutions.

Earlier on Tuesday, it became clear that several people belonging to the state administration of Ukraine have resigned from their leadership positions, accompanied by accusations of corruption. It was the biggest personnel change that shook the leadership of Ukraine during the war that lasted almost a year.
