Ubisoft pulls the plug on Watch Dogs Legion

Ubisoft will end content support for Watch Dogs Legion after a year and a half, and the game will not receive content updates again.

Watch Dogs Legion didn’t last long. Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs: Legion, which it released in October 2020, will no longer receive content support. In this nearly two-year period, Watch Dogs: Legion has added new multiplayer modes, characters, and the Bloodline DLC with the return of everyone’s favorite hacker, Aidan Pearce.

Ubisoft’s official statement on the subject is as follows:

“The current season of the game, Rebels, will run until January 22, 2022, followed by the fifth season of Stripes. After that, the content of the game will go back and forth between season 3 and season 5, giving you the chance to reclaim the rewards you couldn’t get before.”

Time will tell whether Ubisoft will completely finish the Watch Dogs series, which it announced with great expectations and could not get, or whether it will continue the universe with another game. Fans of the game can try to get old rewards by continuing to play the game. Ubisoft has not announced when the Watch Dogs Legion servers will shut down.
