(Finance) – Turkish Airlines presented the Strategic Türkiye Enhanced Program in Istanbul (Step), the result of the collaboration between Airbus, Turkish Airlines and a series of Turkish aerospace companies to support the strategic objectives of the sector over a 15-year period.
In Turchia, As is known, Airbus draws a significant portion of supplies for its commercial aircraft, resulting in the direct and indirect employment of over 3,500 Turkish workers in the aeronautical industry.
Furthermore, Turkish Airlines is also the largest motor operator in the worldand Rolls-Royce’s Trent XWB. An increasingly significant use, taking into account that in December 2023 an order for 150 A321 aircraft and 80 A350 family aircraft was signed, all equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB.
