There are also more users than ever. 122 million people use Uber every month. They made a total of 1.8 billion trips during the quarter.
Nevertheless, Uber made a loss of almost 2 billion dollars, equivalent to 20.4 billion kroner, on its shares in other ride-hailing services.
Uber initially rose about 14 percent on the New York Stock Exchange after the report.
