Streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo learned how to become a Twitch streamer, one of the biggest trolls of all time, at IcePoseidon. Over the years, Mizkif built up a platform by mercilessly taking every trend with him, calculating coolly and being “one of the boys”. Even when he was publicly pilloried for covering up sexual abuse, he still joked about it. It’s all over now. Apparently he has realized that this is about his career.
Who is Mizkif and why is he considered so cynical?
Mizkif was always in conflict with other streamers, but was one of the rising stars of the platform for a long time, also because he is friends with many streamers, belongs to the “Texas” clique and thus became a founding member of the group OTK together with Asmongold.
Because streamers kept praising him and saying that he was a nice guy, the fact that he wasn’t all that serious, in essence he was actually a good guy, resonated.

Mizkif apparently gets “broadcast ban” from Asmongold and OTK

While Mizkif denied it, he disappeared from Twitch for quite a while. He wasn’t following a ban, but his organization “OTK” seemed to have told him it was better if he went into hiding.
They even had a secret crisis session, where Mizkif and Asmongold discussed with Trainwreck and xQc how to use damage control to get out of it in one piece.
In the months that followed, an internal investigation was to be conducted against him by a law firm: Until then, according to the agreement between gentlemen, it was probably better not to hear from Mizkif until the matter had grown on the grass.

Mizkif reappears on Twitch in the middle of the hiatus with a terrible comeback steam
That went wrong: In October, while still in the middle of his hiatus, Mizkif was suddenly back on Twitch. He just couldn’t stand being without Twitch anymore.
In a “comeback” stream, he made a few jokes that were seen as an allusion to the fact that he doesn’t take the allegations against himself seriously and dismisses them as nonsense that “his fans” would forgive him for.
But that was not the case: the stream was heavily criticized, the comeback stream was then deleted and Mizkif has since disappeared into oblivion.

A professional, rueful apology
In a YouTube video he looks innocently into the camera in a blue sweater and with his blue eyes: The eternal clown, who doesn’t take anything seriously, now has to swear how sorry he is for everything and how terrible his comeback stream was. He was without tact and he is terribly sorry.
When people are angry with him, he understands, but he loves the job and streaming and hopes people stick with it.
How are the reactions? The reactions are currently somewhat more positive. But some are already noting that it’s a stark reversal from his past behavior. Only Mizkif himself can answer whether that is authentic or not.
But one cannot expect much more than that he would promise to improve, according to the YouTube video.
There is also agreement in the comments that the comeback stream in October was terrible and embarrassing.

It all seems to have come about collectively. Apparently someone made it very clear to him how serious the situation is and that the issue here is whether he can continue to be “portable” and stay in the group OTK (with all the lucrative projects and partnerships) or become an outcast, with no one wants to collaborate on Twitch anymore.
Mizkif has certainly felt the consequences of his actions in recent months and the fact that he has not been on the air for months and thus felt the love and money deprivation of fans and his friends must have hurt him.
But the inglorious role he played in the aftermath of the sexual abuse goes unmentioned.
