It was during last week that TV4 went out with the announcement thatt Let’s Dance and TALENT Sweden is stopped. It was all decided this year after the show lost viewership.
– Let’s Dance is one of TV4’s biggest and most popular programs of all time. Since the start in 2006, a total of 18 seasons have been broadcast, but in 2024 it is time for a break. Although Let’s Dance is still a show with more than one million viewers each week, ratings have steadily declined over the past few years. We want to break that trend and then we need a break to review how we could renew ourselves and come back again in 2025 with new energy, says Fredrik Arefalkchannel and content director at TV4.¨
TV4 has kept the program despite criticism
But another show that really has no plans to be paused – it’s Prisoners at the Fort.
The program has previously been very popular at home in the cottages and that is exactly why it is still broadcast. But the very fact that there are a lot of dear reunions with profiles that have been in the past – it has not been popular with viewers.
There are currently around 100 comments on TV4’s Facebook page, and many are a bit half-satisfied. They are now demanding that TV4 bring in more “ordinary people” and not just celebrities who have been on several rounds.

The channel has not responded to the criticism. Until now.
