Training on dealing with suicidal people

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The training is aimed at people who work in social services, and is intended to give advice on how they can have conversations with people who are mentally ill and who may have suicidal thoughts.

The training – which takes around 60 minutes to complete – includes texts, films and audio files. Among other things, the course focuses on motivational conversations and actual physical meetings in contact with suicidal people, and gives examples of how these can be carried out.

The training also describes the importance of collaborating with health care and how social work can prevent suicide.

Those who attend the training must be able to do so both via computer, smart phone and tablet.
