Bart is surprised and wants to know more: Georges tells him that he has doubts about Vanessa. In the scullery, he finds a big hidden notebook which showed his obsession for his possible marriage with Georges. The policeman comes to share with his colleagues everything he has found and understands that the first murder took place just after Georges told Vanessa that he did not want to get married for the moment. The police come to search the house of Georges and Vanessa. Damien finds gardener’s gloves in Vanessa’s jacket. At the Spoon, Bart, learning that Vanessa is under suspicion, explodes in anger. As he returns home, Georges finds Vanessa there who has managed not to be noticed by the police. She says she came to prepare her favorite dish. She doesn’t blame him for betraying her because that’s what she loves the most about him, his honesty. She asks him for a last evening, just the two of them, but George asks her to surrender. As he tries to take the knife from her, Vanessa stabs Georges in the stomach. He falls unconscious on the ground.
For his part, Victor projects himself into the future with the Moreno’s money and scheming for his transfer. He offers Sophie to become his partner, which does not seem to displease the lawyer.
