Tomas von Brömssen reads “The New Year’s Clock” at Skansen

Tomas von Brömssen is joined on the Solliden stage by Nikki Amini and Micke Leijnegard, who lead the “Twelve battle at Skansen” together.

“That it is Tomas von Brömssen who will read Tennyson’s poem, yes, it is nothing less than a great honor. I have admired him since I was a child,” says Micke Leijnegard in a press release.

Among the artists appearing during the broadcast are Sissel Kyrkjebø with Lilla kören, Alba August, LaGaylia Frazier as well as Kalle Moraeus, Gunilla Backman and Johan Boding.

After Tomas von Brömssen has declaimed Alfred Tennyson’s classic poem from 1850, Lasse Holm enters the stage and offers some of his well-known songs.

Tomas von Brömssen broke through in the series “Albert and Herbert” in 1976, a classic comedy in which he played the son of Sten-Åke Cederhök. He played one of the main roles in the SVT series “Saltön”, a large number of roles at the Stadsteatern in Gothenburg and has also staged his own revues.
