Today, ProSieben is finally bringing back the big Sunday blockbuster – and screwing it up right away

Today ProSieben is finally bringing back the big Sunday blockbuster

Last year ended an era on ProSieben. As of September 2022, the channel no longer broadcast any blockbusters on Sunday primetime. Instead, shows or sports broadcasts were broadcast, what only partially successful in terms of quotas was. From February 19, ProSieben will be bringing the popular show format Who’s stealing the show? with Joko Winterscheidt on Sunday evening.

Before that, the Sunday blockbuster is celebrating a comeback this week – but with one negative connotation is celebrated.

Comeback of Sunday blockbuster on ProSieben with cut Deadpool 2

ProSieben will broadcast Deadpool 2 at 8:15 p.m. on February 5. A reason for joy for Marvel fans, because the (Anti-)superhero hit with Ryan Reynolds exudes a lot of black humor and rough action.

During prime time on ProSieben, however, Deadpool 2 will inevitably only be shown in a cut version. Since the FSK 16 film runs before 10 p.m., the broadcaster is only allowed one censored FSK 12 version show. As you can see from the cut reports, the violent Marvel spectacle is missing more than three minutes of violence.

So the joy about the comeback of the Sunday blockbuster on ProSieben only lasts for a short time. In the edited version In any case, a great attraction of Deadpool 2 is lost. At Disney + you can stream the Marvel hit uncut with a subscription. *

After part 2, the cheeky anti-hero will continue in cinemas next year. Deadpool 3 brings back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and launches on November 6, 2024 with us on the big screen.
