The Dutch Juniors had a field predominance before the break and had some good chances. In the second half it was thanks to goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, who distinguished himself with two excellent saves, that the Dutch Juniors did not lose. Towards the end of the first half, Verbruggen also kept the Jong Oranje going. Timber was substituted in the second half.
