Three people have been charged with first-degree murder after a male was found dead, Chatham-Kent police say.

Officers were called to Jacob Road in Dover Township about 11 am Friday about a deceased male found at roadside, police said Monday.

The coroner’s office was contacted and a preliminary death investigation launched, police said.
Two males and a female from Tilbury were charged with first-degree murder, police said.
All three appeared in court Monday and were remanded in custody pending a future court date, police said.
