Three young adults are suspected of having fled after the bag murder on Värmdö.
They are in custody in their absence and two of them are internationally wanted.
They have in common that they were all registered at the same address in a Småland municipality.
This week, the hunt for several suspected murderers has been intense after a mysterious murder at the beginning of March. Everything took off on Sunday when a suspicious bag was found in a wooded area next to road 222 in Gustavsberg outside Stockholm.
It turned out to be a 35-year-old man who is suspected of having been murdered.
Since then, four people have been detained – three of them in absentia, who are now suspected of having left the country.

He has lived in Stockholm since 2021. She since 2022. Before that, they both lived at different addresses in several different municipalities in southern Småland. Both are citizens of Afghanistan and neither has received Swedish citizenship.
According to reports, there is a history between the woman and the now murdered man and that this could be the motive for the murder.

“Problems at home”
The third person, a 25-year-old man, was arrested in his absence on Thursday, on suspicion of murder and grave breach of public order.
He was born in Afghanistan, but is now a Swedish citizen.
He lives in a municipality in Småland, in which the wanted couple were also previously registered.
The 25-year-old has played football there for several years. But in recent months he has not been with the team and training.

– He hasn’t been with anything. I have heard that he has had problems at home and will not show up at training, says one of the coaches.
Suspected of having fled
The 25-year-old has previously been convicted of illegal driving. The other two are unpunished.
All three are now in custody in their absence on suspicion of murder and grave breach of privacy.
Two of them, the 23-year-old and the 24-year-old, are suspected of having left the country and, according to information to Aftonbladet, have fled to Latin America.
Another person, a 19-year-old man, is in custody on suspicion of murder, and a fifth person has been arrested on probable cause on suspicion of grave breach of peace. It is not excluded that this person will also be requested to be detained according to prosecutor Cecilia Tepper.
– We will simply have to see, she said on Friday afternoon.
