REVALUATION RATE CLEAR

D-PPI, which is the basis for the revaluation rate determined by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, increased by 122.93 percent at the end of October compared to the 12-month averages. FEE FOR BRINGING TELEPHONE FROM ABROAD IN 2023

If there is no change, with this revaluation rate, the fee for bringing phones from abroad will increase to 6 thousand 90 liras in 2023.

TRAFFIC FINES, PASSPORT FEES…

On the other hand, the fee for passports with a validity of 4 years or more will increase to 3 thousand 294 liras, and the passport book fee will increase to 543.4 liras. While the lowest traffic fine will increase to 953 lira, the fee to apply for enforcement will be 179 lira, the bankruptcy fee will be 296 lira, and the private company trade registration fee will be 3 thousand 853 lira.

The penalty for not wearing a seat belt in the new year will increase from 196 lira to 437 lira, and the penalty for running a red light will increase from 427 lira to 952 lira.

Drivers who exceed the speed limit between 10 percent and 30 percent in traffic will be fined 952 lira, those who exceed 30 percent and 50 percent will be fined 1,980 lira, and those who exceed 50 percent will be fined 4 thousand 64 lira.

The penalty for drunk driving will also vary between 4 thousand 64 liras and 8 thousand 190 liras.

THE PRESIDENT HAS THE AUTHORITY TO REDUCE 50 PERCENT

In accordance with the Tax Procedure Law, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has the authority to reduce the revaluation rate by 50 percent and increase it by 50 percent in taxes and fees.
