Those symptoms may be a harbinger of a silent heart

Heart attack is one of the major health problems worldwide. While 50 percent of individuals who have had a heart attack have early heart attack symptoms, some individuals experience what we call a ‘silent heart attack’. A silent heart attack, which is not detected and treated on time, can cause major problems in the future.

THESE SYMPTOMS MAY BE A SIGN OF A ‘SILENT HEART ATTACK’!

Under normal conditions, in a heart attack that reveals itself with many different symptoms, a slight pain or discomfort in the chest, also known as chest pain, is experienced.
Heart attack symptoms can vary from person to person, with symptoms such as shoulder pain, neck and jaw pain, sweating, nausea or vomiting, dizziness or fainting, shortness of breath, severe anxiety or confusion.

However, in a silent heart attack, which is very similar to a heart attack, normal symptoms do not occur. So much so that someone who has a silent heart attack may not even be aware of the situation. Studies have shown by the American Heart Association that an average of 170,000 Americans have a silent heart attack each year without realizing it.

CAN CAUSE HEART DAMAGE!

Much like a heart attack, a silent heart attack is less symptomatic than a full heart attack, but can still cause heart damage. This will increase the risk of having a heart attack in the future.

Signs of a silent heart attack include:

Experiencing sleep disturbances and increased fatigue
Shortness of breath and easy fatigue
Mild discomfort in your chest, arms or jaw that disappears after resting
Abdominal pain or heartburn
Sticky feeling on the skin

If you’ve had a silent heart attack, you may feel more tired than before. You may also find it difficult to exercise. If you are experiencing similar symptoms, you should see a heart health specialist to protect your heart health.
