It’s a bit of an art to get quality responses out of chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. The better you are at formulating your question, the better it is at giving you the answer you are looking for. It is necessary to understand how AI “thinks” in order to be able to talk to it in the right way.
This process of giving a chatbot instructions, in a dialogue of interactions with it, is called “prompting”. In the video above, AI expert Nils Janse gives his best tips for how to succeed with it.
Keep in mind that you cannot trust the chatbot’s response 100 percent. Sometimes it “takes a guess”. Namely, it is designed to constantly guess the next word, the next sentence, the next paragraph and so on. You can say that it guesses the most likely answer, based on what it learned in the background.
