This is how the student celebration affects central Helsingborg: City closed

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The pandemic effectively put an end to all student celebrations in central Helsingborg for two years. But now all traditions are being resumed.

And thus central Helsingborg is closed to traffic between 2 pm and 5 pm, except for buses and student platforms.

Time for spring again

This year, the students will again, as tradition dictates, run down the Terrace Stairs and down to the Magnus Capricorn statue, starting at 3 pm. And just as usual, Stortorget will also be filled with relatives.

New place for the student flake

Then truckloads are waiting for many of the students. New for this year is that the flatbed is set up along both sides of Kungsgatan as Hamntorget is occupied by H22 City Expo.

When the students get on board, they get to drive a special round: From Kungsgatan south. past Hamntorget, along Drottninggatan north and then back to Kungsgatan via Roskildegatan. Meanwhile, there is a curfew along those streets.
