For the first time, a sexual wellness brand is marketing a range of latex condoms in four different shades that blend with different skin tones. A bold way to talk about inclusion.

White, light, medium or dark brown. Here are the 4 translucent shades that you will now find on the website of the Roam brand, which launched the first range of condoms in April 2023 to match your skin. A first, in the world of sexual health, which delivers a message of inclusion, even in the intimate sphere.

A condom that ticks all the ethical boxes

The message is thus tinged, too, with a discourse of trust that is addressed to everyone, regardless of skin color: in full action, the Roam condom makes it possible to avoid the unsightly coloring of a white or pseudo-translucent.

“Roam exists for all of us. Our goal is to challenge the stigma that surrounds sexuality and provide a range of products that preserve natural sensations, so you can explore sexuality with ease and confidence” the brand is moved on its site.

These “inclusive” condoms also tick all the boxes for an ethical product: vegan, they are made from natural and biodegradable latex, while their packaging is made from sheets of paper in order to limit the waste associated with their use. The brand also intends to distribute a box of condoms to the association for each box purchased.

    A powerful marketing message

Roam condoms are no more effective than others. But they benefit from a marketing power that can reach different populations, in particular people sensitive to equality in all its forms. For this, the company has partnered with the agency Word on the Curb to create not only the colours, but the visuals that go with them and speak for themselves as a personalized and therefore attractive product. A process that had also been used by a brand of dressings of different colors a few years ago.

Remember, however, that regardless of the model, color or even the flavor chosen in your condoms, the important thing is to make the most effective choice to protect yourself from pregnancy, STIs and STDs.
